Carrington is passionate about empowering people in all aspects of their life and career by reframing their circumstances and experiences, shifting their mindset, creating a vision for their life, and then breaking it down into specific measurable achievable realistic time-bound (SMART) goals.  She helps people and organizations move past excuses, shame, and fear to identify where they want to end up, the steps necessary to get there, and how to deal with any obstacles in the way.

 Carrington is available for groups large and small.  She facilitates exercises that help each audience member articulate a vision for their life and career.  Audience members learn how to create a roadmap to get them where they want to go, how to use and refine their vision to stay on task and avoid the shiny objects that are often encountered on the way.

 After law school, Carrington worked as a trial attorney.  Her job taught her how to think on her feet and speak extemporaneously.  Throughout her career, she has given speeches for law and career-related matters, and after twenty years in executive search, is an authority on giving career advice. She is currently a Forbes Human Resources Council Member.
